You can go to Swagbucks.com and search, or you can choose to set  it as your homepage, add the toolbar, and/or make it your default search bar to use it.  I've made it the default search engine and our homepage so when we get online I automatically just "search" for wherever I need to go. 

The first time I get online each day I go to the "Earn" tab at the top of the Swagbucks page and do these three things to earn a 4 Swagbucks in about a minute...

• Click on "Trusted Surveys" for 1 buck (you can complete surveys for more, but just going to the page will get you one instantly)
• Then I click "NOSO" under that same tab and click through the offers (without entering info) and am awarded 1 buck at the end
•  Finally, I go to  "Daily Poll" and answer the question for another buck! 

There are other ways to earn (like watching their videos and things),  but those are the three I do every day, along with searching of course.

You can redeem your Swagbucks for lots of things.   I like redeeming them for Amazon gift cards because they don't  take  long to earn and are great to have "on  hand" for the really great deals.  You can store them in your Amazon account so they are there when you need them.   Currently it takes 450 Swagbucks to earn a $5 gift card.  I redeemed over $60 in gift cards from Swagbucks before Christmas and haven't made much of an effort to get them.  It's a super easy way to earn rewards for doing what you already do!!

It's easy to sign up and easy to use - I love seeing that "buck" show up when I've won one!

A Very Frugal Christmas!: SWAGBUCKS=FREE Christmas Gifts

About a year ago, I was introduced to SWAGBUCKS.   Basically, it is an online search engine similar to google that rewards you with points (or swagbucks) for various searches.  For example, about ten minutes ago I search for "Huggies points 2011" and I received 10 swagbucks for my search.  Once you get a good amount of points, say 450, you can exchange them for giftcards, prizes, or even donate to your favorite charity.  450 points will get you a $5 giftcard to amazon.com (my new favorite online store).

Does it work?  YES!  I have earned at least $50 in Amazon giftcards in the past six months. I have around 880 pts. ready to be redeemed at this time. It takes 7-14 days to receive the gift card or code once it is submitted, so don't expect to have it immediately.

How do you sign up? Simply visit this link and fill out the information.  Be careful, there is only one account per household.  If you sign up with two and they figure it out, they will cancel your membership. How do you earn Swagbucks?  There are several ways to earn swagbucks. The first and easiest way is use their search engine.  Many times I won't get the swagbucks on the first page of results, but as I click to the second or third, my swagbucks will show up.  You may also do surveys, play games, watch Swagbucks TV, complete offers, print coupons & use them, and a variety of other tasks to earn Swagbucks.  I would suggest downloading the toolbar so you can remember to search using Swagbucks.
